What are Chakras?

Seven chakras

Chakras are centres of energy and spiritual power in various esoteric and spiritual traditions, particularly in Hinduism, Buddhism, and certain forms of New Age spirituality.

The term "chakra" comes from Sanskrit and translates to "wheel" or "disk."

The human body contains several major chakras located along the central energy channel, known as the "sushumna," which runs from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Each chakra is associated with specific physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual.

Here is a brief overview of the seven main chakras, starting from the base of the spine and moving upwards:

Complementary Therapy

Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle therapy that can be safely used alongside conventional medicine and other complementary therapies. It's a holistic approach to wellness by using hand-drawn sacred Reiki symbols over the body.

Self-Awareness and Mindfulness

Through the practice of Reiki, individuals often become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. This heightened awareness can lead to better self-care and mindfulness in everyday life.
